Lord Ganesha is the prime ordeal Hindu deity , and has the primary place in all spiritio religious rituals n festivals.Though significant to Hindu tradition, Ganesha attracts the Western world nd other places such as Indonesia ,Java ,Sumatra,Malaysia ,Thailand.All these places Lord Ganesha is worshipped as the LORD of Intelligentsia.
In England nd US too Ganesha is famous as an Elephant Head God.In a company at Citadel ,US all computers have Lord Ganesha an Elephant head God as a screen saver.
In many places like Malaysia ,Thailand the birth festival of Ganesha is celebrated in August / September.{In India now this festival is being celebrated between 2 Sept nd 12 Sept for ten days.}
In Indonesia ,esp Bali ,Java nd Sumatra Ganesha is a popular deity. An Indonesian currency had Ganesha embossed on it till recently.It must be noted that Indonesia is an Islamic nation .Towards the end 9f last century the then PM of Pakistan Musharraf visited Indonesia where he noticed this ,nd then on advised the Chief of Indonesia that we are Muslim and as such are against idolatry so ban n stop this idolatry nd Ganesha currency.The reply given to him is noticeable ,he was told , "It is not possible because though we have changed our religion, not our History".
Similarly Thailand ,where Hindustan are only .09 percent ( around 54000 in absolute sense)is another nation,though Buddhist by religion,where Ganesha is greatly popular deity. All Buddhist ceremonies here are preludes by Ganesh prayers.H ere Ganapati is popular as Elephant God.
In Thai language Ganesha is known as Phar Chikane nd is worshipped as a lord of fortune and Remover of Obstacles.I t us also known as the LORD of Art ,Education and Trade.
कला,शिक्षण व व्यापाराची देवता म्हणूनही येथे गणपतीची ख्याती आहे.Students here worship nd pray to Lord Ganesha before exam for favourable results.

Common tourists ,generally ,donot think beyond visiting Pahijet ,Bankok nd Pataya.They feel there nothing to visit beyond this.B ut there are many specialist and unique visitors who visit Thailand in search of studying the impact of Hinduism around.Sone facts ate difficult for some to perceive ( as practice of whispering in the ears if rat idols.) In the absence of proper understanding if Hindu legends.They appoint or feel the need for some knowledgeable Hindu accompanists.
The huge sculpture of Ocean churning to seek the nector for attaining immortality at the D gate of Bankok airport is a proper indicative of impact of Hinduisms on the Thai culture.
Ujjain and Indore of the Madhya Pradesh province and Sangamner of Nashik district if Maharastra province in India boasts of Huge Ganesha statue. But world's tallest nd longest ,biggest statue if Ganesha is a pride of Bankok and attract tourists from all over.
Chachoengsao province of Bankok has a famous temple Wat Saman Rattanram Temple where a huge statue of telling Ganesha is istituted ,is popular a s a ' pink Ganesha' This province us situated 50 km from Bankok ,a day tour is required to visit the Pink Ganesha on the backdrop if Navy blue sky. This area is peninsular island as is surrounded by the Bang Pokang river.This temple also has other idols like Brahma ,the Creator, Vushnu ,the protector nd,Rahu the servant Lord.
The reclining statue of Ganesha us 16 nete tall and 22 meter long wth quadruple hands ,right one spread over the lap if reclining Ganesha ,another right hand has a lotus in palm ,the one left hand holds tusks nd other left hand us used as cushion while reclining.
The area also has other idols in different shades of lord Ganpati. So one should include this in the itinerary of Thailand visit .
Chachoengsao province of Bankok also boasts of the World's tallest idol of lord Ganesha.I t is situated in Khlong
Khuen district of Chachoengsao province.In fact there is a huge park known as Ganesh International Park here where tallest statue of Ganesha 30 meters in height is instituted. See photo.This is the tallest statue of Lord Ganesha in the World.
Along wth the statue of the LORD the park also has the idols of rats ,the symbolic vehicle of Ganesha where locals report their problems nd seek the remedial bliss from the Rats ,which is a faithful practice amongst Hindu devouts.
This vindicates enough about the cultural impact of Hindu culture on other nations.Hinduism ,truly,is a Universal Religion.,It is not without justification all fortune tellers all over the World ,including Nostradamus, have predicted that the the whole World shall adopt nd follow the Universal Religion. Wise person understands that it is well indicated by the events like Ganesh festival, Shakti puja,sacrificial fire rituals,official Chanting of Rudram in White House on 4 July very year.
